This race is the second race of the European competition.

I arrived to the race after driving more than 350km from Holland. Once there, I picked up my race number, and prepared my handbike. The race was taking place on a Good Year circuit and the weather was very windy, eventhough the sun was shining!

Few seconds after the start, I realised that I had some problems with the adjustment of the backrest. The race was not so easy as there were some uphill areas and the Italian ‘Paulo Cecchetto’ made an attack in a good moment and left our group. Afterwards ‘Heinz Frei’ made the second attack and I followed, but at the end I wasn’t able to stay with him. So I was on my own after the Italian ‘Vittorio Podesta’ joined me and we cycled the whole race side by side until the last round. Then it was my turn to attack and push forward to finish the race in the 3rd place.
